General Accounts Division

Job Summary: Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure  
  • Ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information of the Company
  • Assists the Finance Department manager to support overall department goals and objectives
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the finance department   

Desired qualifications: Should be a BA/ MBA/MA in Accounting, Finance, and Accounting-related fields of study and 8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 years in a senior position.

Training: Competency in MS Office and Accounting package. Certification  in IFRS is an advantage

Language Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English & Afan Oromo is required.
